Community Legal Centres Tasmania has joined with the peak community legal centres of every State and Territory in Australia to make a joint submission to the Productivity Commission’s Access to Justice Issues Paper released in September 2013. Our submission is attached here

The Productivity Commission has been asked to make recommendations on improving access to justice and equity of representation, including through the funding of legal assistance services.

The Productivity Commission is likely to hand down its recommendations  in April 2014.
