The Tasmanian Refugee Legal Service

The TRLS provides advice to refugees, asylum seekers and humanitarian entrants as well as victim-survivors of family violence on temporary visas who reside in Tasmania.

TRLS provides free legal services to people of refugee background, humanitarian entrants and people seeking asylum that are experiencing disadvantage in Tasmania. We also assist victim/survivors of family violence on temporary visas whose visa status may be impacted by the family violence or by the breakdown of their relationship.

We do this with the expertise of lawyers, law students, migration agents and volunteers.
